The KCM Food Hub+ is an answer to an often-asked question:  Can KCM run through the winter?

 

Komoka Community Market has been a benefit to many local families, vendors and customers.  Both shoppers and sellers always asked if we could run a winter market, or extend the season. This was a lovely idea, but it​ was difficult to find the right venue -- one that did not cost too much as a weekly event, and a space that allowed for a good number of our local vendors to be involved... with adequate parking for customers too!

After many late night chats, drawings, spreadsheets, and prayer, we hope we have found the solution! The KCM Food Hub+ is in a trial year, but we love that it is a cost-effective way for our vendor community to come together and reach their customers in one place.  We are excited that we can continue to bring healthy local food and goods to customers, continue to build local economy, and continue to strengthen food security in our community ALL YEAR LONG!
